Story of the Day

I got he word today that I get to go away for a few weeks to work. The nice things are I will have an employer and that I will get paid for what I will be doing. The weather should be much nicer there than up here in the Pacific North Wet. I'll be working in Santa Clara in the heart of Silicon Valley doing software upgrades. I'll be working for Entex, a computer service and supply company. So far it looks like I'll be down there for two weeks with an option for a third.

This will not be my first work in the Golden State but it will be my first work int the valley. It won't be my first visit there though. I have stopped there several times over night though. It is extended suburbs. Even the great city of San Jose, the 2nd largest city in California is primarily extended suburbs. Downtown is a revitalized city witha transit system in place. It will be interesting to find out what it is really like there.

It will be good to return home though. I live here because I want to. I am the kind of person who chooses where he will live. Chance does have something to do with but less so than with most people. Also unlike most people when I come back home from being away I bring back money with me.
